TV stars including Denise Welch and Les Dennis have led tributes to Bobby Davro’s fiancé Vicky Wright after she passed away from pancreatic cancer.

The singer and actress died aged 63, her family announced.

Tributes have now poured in from across the country after the sad news.

Loose Women star Denise Welch shared: “So very sorry,” with a string of heart emojis.

Les Dennis said: “So very sad to hear this. Vicky was a lovely woman and a talented performer. Thoughts with you and family and friends.”

Radio broadcaster Russell Kane tweeted: “RIP Vicky Wright. Funny, charming, glamorous, down to earth. My deepest condolences to her fiancee @BobbyDavro1 and to her family. F*** cancer.”

Arsenal legend Ray Parlour wrote: “So sorry for your loss. Sending [heart emoji] to you and your family.”

Newsreader Nick Owen tweeted: “Oh no. Shattering news. I had known Vicky for more than 40 years and loved her company. 

“Her dad Billy gave me my first job in television. I feel terribly sad tonight. Thoughts with all the family x.”

Wolverhampton Wanderers posted a heartfelt message on Twitter.

The Premier League club’s official account tweeted: “Our thoughts go out to the friends and family of Vicky Wright.

“An inspirational women and the daughter of a true Wolves legend. She will be dearly missed. The whole pack stands with the Wright family”

It comes just days after the comedian revealed his girlfriend was battling pancreatic cancer.

The 64-year-old told of the “absolute agony” of watching his fiancée fighting for her life.

Kelly Wright-Warhurst posted a message on her mother’s Twitter page to say that Vicky had died on Wednesday morning.

Mrs Wright-Warhurst said: “Hello everyone. Some incredibly devastating news to share as my wonderful mum Vicky has sadly passed away this morning.

“I wanted to use this platform to let you all know, as I know how much she valued all your love and support in so many ways.”

Vicky was the daughter of Wolverhampton Wanderers and England football legend Sir Billy Wright and singer Joy Beverley.

She was diagnosed last year with the same cancer that killed her father.

Despite her struggle, Bobby said that they have tried to “keep on laughing” as a couple, who have been together for 12 years.
