Cheryl, who was once a judge on the X Factor, has been playing the lead role as Jenny following in the footsteps of Lily Allen and Laura Whitmore.

And she has been bombarded with fans wanting to take photos alongside her.

She was recently forced to scold her security team after they ushered her in to a waiting car, despite her being willing to have her photo taken with an avid fan.

After raising a security guard raised his arm to usher her into the car, Cheryl fought it off saying: “It’s his dad’s birthday!”

Cheryl recently revealed that she plans to star in a “gritty” drama, following the success of her stage performance.

During an interview on The One show, hosted by Alex Jones and former footballer Jermaine Jenas, she revealed: “When I went to see 2:22 I just knew that it felt right for me and that I would feel comfortable in that role.”

She added: “I think [my next role] would have to be something that gave me that same feeling where it just feels right. Maybe a drama or something gritty.”
