MAE Muller has been confirmed as the UK’s Eurovision 2023 entry.
The singer, 25, who is best known for her song 2021 tune Better Days, kept the secret for TWO months.
The news was confirmed this morning on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on Radio 2 this morning.
Eurovision fanatic Rylan Clark joined Zoe on air to announce it.
Mae said: “Hello I am Mae Muller and I am representing the UK in this year’s Eurovision!
“I’ve been wanting to say that for months.”
They went on to play her tune I Wrote A Song, that she produced especially for the competition.
Zoe asked: “How does it feel to finally release that?”
Mae replied: “I literally… that has been on my lips and in my brain and in my soul.”
“How long have you known?,” Zoe asked.
Mae confessed: “I’ve known for like two months, I’m pretty sure my time frame is so all over the place, it’s been a hot minute!
“I usually love to chat so it’s been so hard for me.”
